Corinthia Christmas Garden
Step into a wintery haven in the heart of London. Arguably London's best kept secret, the Corinthia Christmas Garden offers a rare, mosaiced outdoor oasis in the heart of the city offering immersive dining experience.The Garden has been transformed into a wondrous winter terrace, complete with twinkling lights, roaring fireplaces and warming sheep's wool and alpaca blankets. The cosy-chic feeling is complemented by an alpine-inspired menu, curated by Executive Chef André Garret.
Christmas at Kew
Christmas at Kew, enter a botanical world filled with seasonal cheer as the garden is transformed with their annual Christmas light displays. Familiar favourites — such as the 'Christmas Cathedral' tunnel of light, the fire garden, and that fountain and laser show choreographed to music — are back, along with some new installations including glowing star-shaped arches, and a 'Starry Night' wall of light. At 2.7km, this year's route feels like the longest yet.
Visit a Covent Garden Christmas Market
And just like that it’s Christmas market season once again. London’s markets are one of the most joyful ways to shop all year round, but they truly come alive at Christmas time with twinkly lights, crafty goodies and a liberal sprinkling of good cheer. It doesn’t get much more Christmassy than the Covent Garden Christmas Market, with its annual 60ft Christmas tree sparkling with more than 115,000 colourful lights. Head down to see it towering in its glory and while there, enter the magical Christmas Village.
Ice Skating at Somerset House
Glide through this festive season at one of the capital’s many open-air ice rinks. There’s plenty to choose from but Skate at Somerset House is arguably London’s most iconic. Somerset House’s festive ice rink returns to The Strand this Christmas. Whether a skater or simply a spectator, join Somerset House for a festive drink, spend time with loved ones and celebrate under their 40-foot tall Christmas Tree.
